This piece is truly one-of-a-kind and made with time, care, and a whole lot of fun.
The sardines are made from a mottled green glass that reveal a moldy looking glow when the lamp is lit. For the lid, I chose a mottled yellow glass with a ‘chipped edge’ detail, hinting at how the fungi first made their way into the tin! The outer body is made from an iridescent green glass to hold all of the moldiness together.
Equipped with a standard two-pronged NEMA 5-15P plug (standard US plug) and a bright white LED bulb so it’s ready to light up your space. Lamp measures just over 5"x7".
Please note: As with all stained glass pieces made using 60/40 tin/lead solder, washing your hands after handling is recommended. Lead can be harmful if ingested—this lamp is for lighting up your space, not snacking on ;)
